The TYPO3 core does not use this library anymore and can be removed.

"<f:translate htmlEscape" parameter (which is deprecated) has been
removed under sysext:belog.

Also the url under "Core Team" section was updated,
which was a redirect.

In our efforts to streamline the JavaScript base with RequireJS
and jQuery, the prototype.js and scriptaculous libraries are
removed from the Core completely.

Modernizr is not used in the TYPO3 Backend at all
anymore as modern browsers support the options
supported by modernizr we used up to 7.1 already.

It is therefore removed from the backend.

The current link to RemoveXSS project is broken and
no new one can be found. The patch removes the link
from about module but keeps other references in the
source files

Specific CSS styles that are only needed is a single place should
be held in that specific place also. Moves CSS styles that are only
used in one place to that specific location. These styles are also
only loaded when needed.

Also refactors HTML output of backend modules to be more
HTML5 standard conform. This allows us to remove a lot of CSS.

CSS/less was touched for:
About, About modules, Wizards, Permissions, Setup, TS Template.

The core still access xliff language files as .php or .xml,
although the files themselves are converted to .xlf since quite
some time. This could cause confusion.

This is a cleanup taken all .xlf files in the EXT:lang/.xlf
directory and run via a sed script (thanks to Stucki)

As there is a better HTML5 alternative in the
Backend since TYPO3 CMS 6.0, the
flash uploader has only little benefits anymore.

The patch removes all occurrences (except labels)
that are related to swfupload, as well as swfupload
itself.
